The PROJECT, executed in joint venture with Kettaneh Construction Saudi Arabia Ltd., involved construction of 19 new buildings on EPC basis including Architectural, Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Communications, Plant Paging, Instrumentation, as follows:

• Four Substations for GOSPS’ 1, 2, 3 and 4 – Buildings Nos. B-0130/ B-0230/ B-0330/ B-0430 each of 60m Length x 10m Width x 7.70m Height.

• Four Process Interface Buildings (PIB) for GOSPS’ 1, 2, 3 and 4 – Buildings Nos. B-0150/ B-0250/ B-0350/ B-0450 Each of 21m Length x 17.2m Width x 5.60m High.

• Two Team Maintenance Building for GOSPS’ 1 and 3 – Buildings Nos. B-0100/ B-0300 the two of TMB’s 45.1m Length x 24.1m Width x 4.2m High except for the main workshop at 7.3m High.

• Four Emergency Generator Buildings for GOSPS’ 1, 2, 3 and 4 – Buildings Nos. B-0131/B-0231/B-0331/B-0431 having 11.4m Length x 10.135m Width x 6.3m High.

• Operator Shelter Building – Building No. B-0700 Operator Shelter – Inlet Facilities Area having 12.55m Length x 9.3m average Width.

• Two Chemical Storage Shelter Buildings for GOSPS’ 1 and 3 Buildings – Buildings Nos. B-0102/ B-0302 7.8m Length x 7.8m  Width and 6.62m average Height.

• Two Smoking Shelters for GOSP’s 1 and 3 – Buildings Nos.  B-0101/ B-0301having 4.0m Length x 4.0m  Width and 2.95m average Height.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF ALL THE BUILDINGS INVOLVED:

• Cast-in-situ reinforced concrete sub-structure.

• Cast-in-situ reinforced concrete sub-structure and superstructure.

• Walls- External : reinforced concrete CMU walls lined with insulation and gypsum board.

• Walls-Internal : reinforced CMU wall, rendered. Radiator louvers and sand traps with security mesh were mounted  on the external wall as shown on drawing.

• SPCU reinforced concrete pads.

• Pre-cast reinforced concrete insulated sandwich wall panels and double “T” beam roof slab panels. Scope involved structure design verification and pre-casting of elements. Method statements for lifting/ transportation and installation were approved before commencing the works.  Maximum panel weight is 24 Tons Four transformer bays separated by CMU firewall.

• ACCU reinforced concrete pads .

• Doors and Frames- Fabricated by Saudi Aramco approved Vendor; External- Blast proof doors and frames with hardware; Internal- Hollow metal doors and frames with hardware

• Roof and access- Approved water-proofing system. Roof with side step caged ladder entry .

• HVAC System- ACCU and AHU units mounted on reinforced concrete pads with associated ducts and accessories.

• Underground pipes: PVC Drainage line below grade: Sch 40 CPVC Drinking/raw water line below grade: Sch. 80 Polypropylene pipe Acid drainage line below grade: C.S. galvanized pipe Vent line through roof .

• Electrical/Lighting / Power / Instrumentation /Fire & Gas Detection System/Paging System / Grounding / Lightning Protection

• Automatic sprinkler system.

• Office furniture and Equipment.

MANPOWER AND SAFETY:

• Manpower reached a peak of 776 Direct and 71 In-direct manpower. All personnel was accommodated and catered for in MAC-KCS JV camp constructed near the project site, with full life support facilities.

• A Safety Record of 1,800,000 worked man-hours was achieved without a Lost-Time Incident.
